The Florida Keys Farmers Market (often referred to as the Islamorada Farmers Market) is a vibrant Sunday tradition in the Upper Keys. Known for its “oasis” atmosphere, it’s much more than a grocery stop—it’s a social hub featuring live music, colorful murals, and a lush garden setting that feels like a hidden park.

The market is held every Sunday, year-round, rain or shine.

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Location: 81001 Overseas Highway, Islamorada, FL (Mile Marker 81, Oceanside).

Tropical Art: The market features vibrant murals by Miami artist DaveL, creating a perfect backdrop for photos.

Pet Friendly: Well-behaved, leashed dogs are extremely common and welcomed by the vendors.

Fernando’s Bonsai Garden: A quiet, shaded walkway with fountains and unique bonsai trees that offers a peaceful break from the shopping crowds.

Pro-Tips for 2026

Arrive Early for Parking: While there is a designated free lot, it fills up quickly by noon. Arriving at 10:00 AM ensures you get the best selection of fresh baked goods and seafood before they sell out.

BYO Bags: In the spirit of the Keys’ sustainability efforts, most vendors encourage reusable bags.

The Beer Garden Connection: The market is located right next to the Florida Keys Brewing Co. (which opens at 11:00 AM). Many visitors grab a pint of local craft beer to enjoy in the colorful beer garden after they finish their shopping.

Look for “The Mermaid”: If you’re driving south on the Overseas Highway, the giant mermaid statue on the left side of the road is your landmark to turn.10
